We're proud to be the first company to receive a MegaBoost award from the NSF Energy Storage Engine in Upstate NY.
Our pilot EV vessel has already put in real work on the Erie Canal with the New York Power Authority and the New York State Canal Corporation: retrieving buoys, towing dredge pipe and moving crews. This $1 million award takes that work to commercial scale with three pieces designed to operate together:
⚡️⛴️ A production-grade 24-foot workboat powered by our Gen-7 P300 electric propulsion system
⚡️🔌 A 40-kilowatt marine DC fast charger
⚡️🔋 The ChargeBarge, a 32-foot floating battery platform being built by Derecktor Shipyards in New York State
